The front door moment
When a crew member knocks, the customer looks at the shirt before anything else. A clear logo on a clean uniform tells them the right company has arrived. For many home service companies, that matters as much as the truck, because the truck may be parked on the street out of view.
Logos that stitch well
Embroidery turns a logo into thread, and thread has limits. Letters below about a quarter inch tall get muddy, thin lines disappear, and small gaps fill in. We make a version of your logo for stitching: bolder lines, larger counters in the letters, fewer colors and no gradients. Your embroiderer still makes the stitch file, often called digitizing, from our artwork; we set it up so that step goes smoothly.
What we set up
| Garment | Placement | Typical logo size |
|---|---|---|
| Polo | Left chest | About 3 to 4 in wide |
| T-shirt | Left chest plus large back print | About 3.5 in front, 10 to 12 in back |
| Hat | Front panel | About 2 in tall |
| Jacket or hoodie | Chest and back | About 4 in front, 11 in back |
| Hi-vis vest | Back panel | Fit to the space between reflective strips |
Sizes vary by garment and supplier, so we follow your supplier's limits when you send them.
Garment colors
Crew shirts get dirty, so many companies pick navy, charcoal or a dark brand color. We plan the logo for the shirt color you choose: a reversed or one-color version for dark fabric, and a full-color version for light fabric. If your brand color is bright orange or green, a shirt in that color can work as a high-visibility choice with a dark logo on it.
Back prints for moving crews
Movers spend much of the day carrying things away from the customer, so the back of the shirt is seen more than the front. A large, simple back print with the name and the mark helps neighbors notice the crew. We keep phone numbers off the back unless you want them, since they date the shirt if the number changes.
Questions
Do you sell uniforms?
No. We design and prepare the artwork. You order garments from your uniform supplier or a local embroidery or print shop.
Can you match our truck color in thread?
Thread comes in set colors, so we pick the closest thread colors from your supplier's chart and note them in the files.
