Your trucks are the biggest sign you own
For a moving company, the box truck carries more of the brand than anything else. It sits in front of a customer's house for a whole day, drives across town in traffic, and parks overnight where neighbors walk past. A service van does the same job on a smaller scale. A clear layout on those vehicles is worth more than a clever one.
What goes on a truck
We keep each side to three things people can take in at once: the logo, one line about what you do, and how to reach you. The back of the truck gets the name and phone number large enough to read from the car behind. Cab doors carry the mark and any license or registration numbers your state requires; you supply the numbers and confirm the rules.
| Area | What we put there |
|---|---|
| Box sides | Logo, service line, phone or web address, color band |
| Back roll-up door | Name, phone, short service line; kept clear of handles and the latch |
| Cab doors | Mark or stacked logo, plus any required numbers you give us |
| Hood or cab front | Mark only, if your shop recommends it |
Full wrap, partial wrap or cut vinyl
A full wrap covers the whole box in printed vinyl and can carry photos and color fields. A partial wrap covers part of the box, often a color band and the logo, and leaves the white box showing. Cut vinyl lettering is solid-color shapes applied directly. Cost and life on the road differ for each, so your shop is the best guide on materials. We design for whichever you choose and can show two versions side by side.
Measurements and templates
Wrap shops work from vehicle templates or from measurements. Send the make, model, year and box length, or a template from your shop, and we lay the design out on it. We mark rivet lines, door seams, handles, vents and the area behind the cab, so the name never gets cut by a seam.
Fleets of mixed trucks
Most companies run a mix: a 26 ft box, a 16 ft box, a cargo van and maybe a trailer. We build one layout system with a fixed color band height and logo position, then adapt it to each vehicle so the fleet lines up when parked together.
Questions
Do you install the graphics?
No. We design and prepare the files. A local wrap or sign shop prints, cuts and installs them.
Can the files work for a rented truck?
Yes. We can design magnetic signs or removable panels for rented or leased trucks, sized to fit the flat areas of the box.
