Logo design for movers and home service crews

A logo drawn for the side of a truck and the chest of a polo, then checked on every surface before you sign off.

What a service company logo has to do

A logo for a moving or home service company does most of its work at a distance or at a glance. A driver behind your truck has a few seconds. A homeowner opening the door sees a chest logo for a moment before looking at the person wearing it. So the logo needs a simple shape people can remember, a name that can be read fast, and colors that stay clear in sun, rain and road grime.

That rules out a lot of what looks good on a screen: thin script lettering, small taglines inside the logo, fine gradients and detailed pictures of houses with every window drawn in. Those details vanish on a truck at highway speed and fill in when stitched at chest size.

New logo or cleanup

Plenty of companies have a logo customers already know, painted on two trucks and printed on years of door hangers. If it works, we keep it and redraw it cleanly so it holds up at every size. If it has problems, such as a name that can't be read from the street or a picture too busy to stitch, we show you what would change and you decide how far to go.

A new logo makes sense when you are starting out, when you have merged or renamed the company, or when the current one can't be fixed without changing what makes it recognizable.

Names and phone numbers

Many moving and service companies have long names, such as a family name plus "Moving and Storage". We plan the lockup so the part people should remember is largest and the rest steps down in size. Phone numbers and web addresses are kept out of the logo itself and set as a separate line, so they can change without new files.

How we test a logo

Every direction we show you is drawn on your own surfaces at real size: your truck box from a side photo, your shirt color at chest size, your yard sign and your estimate form. We also check a one-color version for embroidery and a reversed version for dark backgrounds. If a direction fails on one of them, we fix it or drop it before you see it.

Questions

Can you work from a photo of my truck?

Yes. A straight-on side photo is enough for us to redraw the logo as clean vector files.

Who owns the logo?

You do, once the job is paid. The written quote spells out the rights transfer, and the files are yours to give to any shop.
